I had the exact same experience as these other two reports, luckily I found this site before spending any money. The same “Sophia Mclean” went through a whole interview with me through google hangouts. When I sent the link to them with this site and said I was suspicious the message was read but I got no response. In hindsight it’s obvious from the start it was a scam, I guess I was just excited about the chance it wasn’t even though I was suspicious.
-Interviews are usually done in person or at least over video call
-Hiring managers usually don’t have a massive amount of typos in their text, and are much more formal than “Sophia” is. (“Oh yes 8am PST on Tuesday is perfect …i will be available online on here when you are ..”)
-40$/hr is a ridiculous amount to pay for someone with no experience in the field
-Anyone these days can design a website, that doesn’t make the company credible

Thank you to the previous reporter for posting this somewhere online. I also had the “hiring manager” contact me this morning. Once I asked about details of the job and they told me that the wage for an administrative assistant or data entry clerk was 40$ hourly I knew immediately it must be a scam. While there isn’t anything else online indicating it, having found this report I immediately blocked the number and am thankful that I did not participate in the interview.
They contacted me stating they had found my information on ZipRecruiter so be aware of that fact as well.

I just want to tell people to be very vigilant. There are so many scammers going on . The last thursday someone contacting us pretending to be a manager of Agomab Therapeutics which is a new company hiring for people.
And the people asked us to pass interview via skype which we did . And after passing interview the person pretend to go check with the manger to find out if I pass my interview. The person went like for 10 minutes than come back saying Congratulation u passed your interview and now the company will be sending you the équipements for work from home due too covid 19. Thank they said they are going to send us a cheque which we will have to deposited into our account. Stupid we were with my husband we did not take our time to examine the cheque we deposited to rbc account than the person start pushing us to call the bank to realised funds so we can take the funds and go to walmart to purchase the stream cards than scratch the card give the code to them. We have lost $1700.00 we are now into debt with the bank beacuse the cheque bounced.
People be very vigilant anyone contacting you regarding bussiness, umployement or something else please simple ignore the conversations they are truly scammers.
Myself and my husband we are praying our God to go deal with the people who stole our money .we cant let this go just like that.i know we cannot get the money back but we praying God to send uncure sickness to the person who scammed us. That person will have to suffer until he or she die .they will seek for cure that there Will not get any cure.
