i have worked for asap carriers for about 35 days now. i didnt know or have any reason to look them up on google since it was tough times.. the pandemic was still keeping jobs from hiring to many peopl and im a student so i figured a work from home job with this pay was great and not to difficult.
i called about my payment and i was told to [censored] myself..
i googled them and seen how they scam and all the reviews.
i also became aware that the address for this company was for the ups store on sunrise in ft lauderdale florida.

what can i do to fix this problem and get my money from these people.

Like the previous report, I was contacted by Mike Adamik regarding a work from home job, inspecting packages and sending out via UPS. I was asked to sign up and submit my drivers license, and then the area manager “Andrew” would be in touch. I did submit, and got an email that I was approved, and I could login to system and retrieve my new message. I’m unable to get in, and there is no “forgot password” prompt, so I have tried calling Adam back and get a busy signal each time. I am not terribly concerned as I didn’t reveal my social security #, but nonetheless am skeptical about the entire exchange.

This is from bbb , when searching the job you can find this a lot of ppl have complained about them.
BBB Industry Tips:

How the Scam Works:
You receive an email offering you a job at a shipping service. The company is hiring “agents” to package items and mail them overseas. The position reimburses “agents” for their expenses and pay a monthly stipend. It sounds like easy money, so you accept the job.

Soon, your first assignment arrives. You are asked to ship something – often electronics – to an address domestically or overseas. You send off the items, but your payment never arrives. You’ve been conned, and you may have just helped scammers move illegally obtained goods.

Watch out for variations on this scam, such as requests that could open you up to ID theft. Some victims reported sending a copy of their driver’s license with their “job application,” which gave scammers their name, address and photo.

How to Spot a Reshipping Job Scam:
– Be very cautious of any job that asks you to share personal information or hand over money. Scammers will often use the guise of running a credit check, setting up direct deposit or paying for training.
– If a job looks suspicious, search for it in Google. If the result comes up in many other cities with the exact same job post, it is likely a scam.
– Check out the business’ website. Scammers often falsely use the names of real businesses. Check on the business’s site or give them a call to confirm the position exists

They scammed me. I “worked” with them for 3 1/2 weeks when it’s time to get paid “they don’t pay you and you are locked out of the online portal”. They steal your I.d to ship packages to “newly hired employees” and for people to pick up packages with a fake letter with a copy of your I.d attached to it so the people that think they are working for them can go to fed ex and ups and pick up packages for them. Take all there packs ages cause they are fraud. I wish I would’ve known. I would of kept everything. I just emailed the news people so more people can be aware of this fake scamming job. I reported them to bbb and other places.

I heard of this company ASAP Carriers on Indeed. I feel it may be a job scam. They offer work at home labeling and packaging based on computer work. Pays $650 a week plus ten percent bonus. Direct deposit or check via mail Pay Pal. That did not seen right. They do not have a phone number. All communication has been by email with Mike Adamik. They e mailed me an application. I submitted it. My application was pre approved. Now they are requesting a picture of my drivers license. I did not send that. I am leery. It does not feel right.
