Type of a scam Online Purchase
My teenage daughter was recently the victim of an online puppy scam. She sent $1900 via Zelle to bernedoodle.online for the purchase and shipment of a puppy. Once the funds were sent she heard no more from the business. (We called, emailed, and texted to no avail.) We then found information on Petscams.com stating the bernedoodle site was a scam, with numerous comments from people that had been victimized over the past year. My daughter has been heartbroken over this as it took her three years to save that money all to get an emotional support dog. What is so sad and disturbing is that the same website has been operating for over a year now, luring in victim after victim. I would ask that your office work with law enforcement to at least shut down that website to prevent any more innocent people from being victimized. Thank you.
