I ordered a jigsaw from Bettibeatle in May and they took my money straight away. The item took 3 months to arrive from China (even though the site appeared to be in the USA) and when it did finally arrive it was clearly a cheap fake. I raised a dispute via PayPal and was eventually offered a refund but only if I returned the package to China recorded delivery at my own expense. 6 months of dispute and I’ve ended up £28 out of pocket with nothing to show for it but a cheap cardboard box with a replica of a jigsaw that I wouldn’t even send to the charity shop. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Type of a scam Online Purchase

After seeing an ad on Instagram, I ordered two jigsaw puzzles from this online retailer, Bettibeatle, on May 3, 2020. I subsequently discovered a disclaimer on the manufacturer’s website (eeboo.com) that this retailer is not authorized to sell their products. I emailed Bettibeatle to cancel my order and they claimed it had already been shipped. Several weeks passed and I continually requested tracking information but they never provided it and continued to refuse to refund my money. I made the purchase using PayPal so I contacted them for refund. They ended up denying my claim because Bettibeatle provided FedEx tracking information. The problem is that info was false. The box they claim to have shipped is too small to contain the items, and FedEx would not have "Left at front door" because my building has 24-hour doorman coverage. I am attempting to make PayPal aware of this but their Resolution Center is now experiencing errors and cannot process claims.
