Blue Moon Italian Greyhounds

Johnathan – Jan 22, 2021

It sounds like this person changes their name frequently – Loyalty Italian Greyhounds and Mary’s IG.
I quickly noticed when I contacted both of the sites i mentioned, the automatic reply email was the exact same. I also noticed both sites had about 10 puppies posted doe sale and the background for each puppy was different (clearly stolen pictures). They refused to let me pick up my puppy – said they would ship for free. When I insisted on meeting them and paying in person – all communication stopped.

Vincent – Dec 04, 2020

I think this company now goes by Mary’s IGs www.marysig.com. The entire set up sounds very similar. They say they have 10 week old puppies for $500 plus $180 shipping. They don’t ask any real questions when you inquire and although I haven’t heard back from Mary, it sounds like it’s the same person based on the language in the email I received.

Same thing happend to me and they are now call Green Star Italian Grehounds. Go to www.ic3.gov and fill out the FBI form so we can shut down the websites. Med Global Logistics tried to scam me as well.

SCAM!

Bonnie – Sep 23, 2020

Just want to add to this the “Blue Moon Italian Greyhounds” is now going by “Green Star Italian Greyhounds” (http://www.greenstaritaliangreyhound.com/). In fact, you will still see a mention of “Blue Moon Italian Greyhounds” at the bottom of one of their pngages. Same story (deaf wife), same fake name (Helen), same approach, same scan. The scammer asked to be paid via Zelle at [email protected] (name: arika stoker).

Alicia – Sep 10, 2020

9/10/2020: Don’t be fooled like me. I wish that I had seen this report site before I sent money, but must instead simply add my name to the list of other people out money. Same deal, $680 total then they’d ship, snafus around sending via zelle should have woke me up, like the email address associated with Greenstar Italian Greyhound’s zelle account was not Greenstar Italian Greyhound and changed quickly after the 1st deposit was sent. Not knowing the transfer actually went thru, they claimed it had not, I tried again with the new email they gave me and am now out $1000 ($500 x 2) instead of $680. There is no address or phone number on the website and “Helen” told my wife she was deaf and therefore could not take a call. She claimed to be waiting for the final $160 to ship, but you can read form the other reports here that it’s just a scam, no puppies to ship. It really is a scam. Here is the link to the FTC site: https://www.usa.gov/stop-scams-frauds Report them ASAP please.
I filed a complaint with the FTC and submitted a fraud report to my bank.

Fair warning it looks like the website has been changed to greenstaritaliangreyhound.com & email [email protected]
They almost got me but the bottom of their page and the “testimonials” still say bluemoon which is how I found out what they are doing. This is absolutely terrible!

My cousin got scammed in Las Vegas this past week, I am getting contact information about which FBI division to contact from my lawyer, it us the same story I have read from everyone on this thread, except the thick accented guy said he needed another $4000 to start an insurance claim because custom agent broke the dog’s leg and he was going to be seeing a payment of $70,000

Pet scam for $680 a 10 week old IG is shipped to you. Mary hits behind her Christian messages and closings BUT she’s a scam. Don’t be fooled. I called my vet and she tipped me off to the scam before I sent money. Boy am I glad I asked for her console, saved me at least $680 and lots of disappointment and frustration.

CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Marie – Aug 07, 2020

Shortly after communication between me and Blue Moon became sketchy, I decided to do a search on them that led me here. I paid them $680 for a puppy and then got the same story as many other people about needing to pay and extra $900 for a special crate for shipping. I called the seller, going by Keith Aderson, and wife Mary. I also called the shipping company Med Global Logistics. The people who answered both of my phone calls was a man with a very thick indian accent. When I began questioning them, they became very defensive. I told “Keith” I wanted my money back or legal action would be taken. I have reported them to the FTC as well. If any of you have any other information or other steps to take to make sure this person gets taken down, let me know. I am very upset and no one else should have to go through this.

I am copying pasting this text to everyone on this thread, I am not spamming, I want to see these people taken down

I also want to share that the Blue Moon Italian Greyhound was a total scam, they charged me $680.00 and wanted $990.00 more for a crate charge because they said the airport would not fly them without a special crate.
This totally broke my heart, and anyone who wants to get them stopped needs to contact FTC right away and report these scammers.
I will be filing out my complaint and I know of others who have already done their, so please do not wait, this individuals need to go down for what they do to innocent people, who love animals. They prey on us and have no remorse, all they want is the money, please please contact the FTC. The people who scammed me names were Dinah Redd and DeCarlo Mengot.

Tina – Aug 02, 2020

We were scammed as well. They are liars and have been doing this for a while. They use photos from another website of old puppies and change their names and the names of the puppies but use the same address. We were going to get 2. The total was going to be $1180 including shipping. We sent in $680 as a deposit through Western union. We were told that everything was fine and then we got an email about needing $990 for a special crate. We didn’t send anything else.

Caroline – Aug 01, 2020

I too wanted an Italian greyhound. I payed for Bella and then the delivery service was to deliver it to my door ( per Dinah) but that was 3 days ago. Then they wanted $999.00 for a special crate they needed to rent. So I gave them the money ( actually I borrowed it). If this wasn’t enough this morning ( July 31 2020) the guy called that there was some form that needed to be filled out and submitted because the airline is keeping her in quarantine. Yes you guessed it another $750. NOW they did say I would get the $999.00 and the $750 back with the delivery of my puppy. She was supposed to be her yesterday then today and now I’m told that the airport has the form and he promised that my puppy will be here tomorrow morning. He said you don’t have to pay any more money. If I wasn’t so stressed out I would have laughed at him. I said of course I don’t have to pay any more you have over $2000. Dollars of mine and I no longer have a penny to my name. He swears, promises that the puppy will be here tomorrow morning and if I get surprised and she really will be here then I will update all of you. I’m a disabled person I
Who had no quality of life. And those that can relate know what I think about all the time ( checking out). But when I saw this puppy I thought once she’s trained I could take her with me everywhere especially nursing homes and hospice. Old people are usually pretty honest. Oh I forgot to say I havent left my home in more then 10 years. I wanted to try slowly to not only help myself but put smiles on people who like me have no quality of life or they are at their lifes end. To put even a little smile on their faces would give me a purpose. Now I will tell you that Albert ( delivery service) said please trust me your puppy will be at your home in the morning ( Aug.1, 2020). I hope it’s true. But it’s starting not to look that way. Plus I asked him for a photo of this $750. Form which he just ignored and I asked him what airline was the puppy on from Georgia to Philadelphia Pa. and again he ignored me. If the puppy comes tomorrow I promise I will let all of you know. But if you see no change here within 2 days you know Blue moon and med global logistics scammed a disabled person. Which is the lowest of the low. I hope this is not the end of my experience.

Jamie – Aug 05, 2020

Hi Sophir
Don’t let them win, write the FTC right away, I was going to get the dog for my disabled husband as we lost our other dog and my husband has been so depressed since. I have spoken to the real people whom those picture belong to, it is such a crime what they think they are getting away with. Did you send your money to Georgia? Would like to hear from you on this matter. please please contact the FTC there is enough of us and we will get them. I posted above (Nancy)

Kyle – Aug 01, 2020

Im looking forward to seeing if you get your puppy or what happens next because honestly this company is a scam , i was cought up into it as well right until the seller never wanted to talk by phone or facetime the puppy which already is a huge redflag . Also the pricing is way too good to be true since an italian greyhound is atleast 1,700$ from a local breeder . Also if you read other comments , one has even went to the adress given for pickup and the person claiming to live there wasnt even there . Its very sad that people do this kind of thing for money! I hope you get youre money back someway or an other …this person needs to get cought . Also the person made up a huge tragic story and claims to be a god holly christian and promises to be 100% legit . Yeah right .

My husband and and I were looking for a Italian Greyhound puppy and the Blue Moon Italian Greyhounds came up. We immediately contacted the website and the lady came back and really swept us in with her puppies. she had pictures of them and told us to pick out the one we would like and that we would have to make a deposit. She also ask us a bunch of questions about ourselves and then came back that we would be accepted to get the puppy named Sasha. We would have to send a deposit of $250.00. I told her we could mail a check and she would get it in a couple of days. She said they did not accept checks. This was a red flag but I did what she said. Told me to go to CVS and send a money gram to her husband, then make a copy with our phone and send it to her. Another red flag. We then made arrangements to go on a Friday to pick up the puppy in Stone Mountain, GA. We headed that way and got to the address she gave us and after going to the door a lady came and said she did not have any puppies and we were the fourth people that had come to here address to pick up a puppy. She was very upset and so were we. We knew right then that we had been scammed.

Donna – Jul 27, 2020

I was just about to go through with this but everytime i asked for her phone number or a live video (facetime) to see the real dog she changed subject and then went all christian on me saying she would never lie and so on … huge red flag . Glad i looked further into this website .
