On 8/3/20 Looked at a Google Ad site (found out these are not screened) looking for a Shiba Inu puppy. The site looked pretty professional and had some really cute puppies. We emailed back and forth and they seemed to really care about the "puppies". We were looking to get two of them and put a down payment of $1000 so they could be shipped out. The puppies were "shipped out" and a few hours later we got an email from another company in Utah (Petsafedelivery.com) stating we need to sign a contract and send them a $2000 refundable deposit for them to release the puppies and have them shipped to us and it would be paid back when the puppies were delivered and if we didn’t pay we would be charged a $5000 abandonment fee. That was the flag that I just got scammed out of $1000. I tried to put in a claim saying I was scammed but Bank of America denied it saying they would not approve my claim.

we paid for a puppy we loved, full price. he was supposed to get here and we got an email from the "pet agency" they were sending the dog through asking for $1500 in a cashiers check in order to send the dog. after calling them back they hung up on us and refuse to answer any more calls unless we send them the money
