Type of a scam Debt Collections
This company called and said I had a judgement against me for an old credit card. They said notices were sent to be that I have ignorded. I never received anything from this company. I also never had a credit card with the company they named.I called the credit card company and they ran my social and said that I never had a card with them. I’ve talked twice with this collection agency with this info but they continue to leave messages about this.they have been very rude and threatening I’ve looked this company up and could not find any info on them.they said on the message left that these legal papers they have sent me were returned to sender but when I questioned them they had my correct address and refused to send me any more correspondence because they said I already got it,which completely is opposite to what they said.I don’t know if they have contacted any one else but it really sounds suspicious to me.said I could settle with them for half owed, which I didn’t do.
