My daughter & I both received a call from Fido 1888-481-3436. Call display said fido and when I called the # back there is a welcome to fido message. The person said his name was James Turner from Fido. They were going to be updating the Towers in our area last night and there might me some disruption in our service. He wanted to credit me to my fido account $10.00 for every hour my line was disrupted for all my phones lines. He would give me a code after he veryified my info and they would send me an email , I would put the code in and the credit would go to my fido account. He asked for postal code, Birthdate and email address. This is what fido usually uses as well. I called Fido in the morning and they had no record of this, so they had me put on a password. A couple hours later James Turner called me and wanted to send my email for the credit but would need my password, when I told him I had already called fido and there was no record of him he hung up on me. I called Fido back and turned out the person had already reserved two phone #s in my name and I guess he just needed my password to activate. *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ***
