Type of a scam Tech Support

While viewing a pngage your viewing is interrupted by a screen notifying you that your computer has reached a critical stage and that it is infected with mass viruses and malware. Next to this screen are other screens with the Microsoft logos and a toll free number. When you call that number they explain that they can fix the problem and they need to remotely control your computer. They show you several screens that have a laundry list of infections in your computer. After they are finished they charge you two hundred bucks and give you another number to call for problems in the future. You’ll probably need that because they’ve implanted additional malware. After I made the mistake of dealing with them I called a trusted technician who came over, downloaded Anti-Spyware and Anti-Malware into my computer and showed me all the bad files they had put in which he cleaned before leaving.
