Aug 10, 2019 Brian *** came to my home in Bedford ,Ohio we discussed him building a 8X14 deck with 2 handicap ramps and a step on the side for me to have safer exit and entrance to my home. I’m 72 years old, and having the ramps and small deck would provide a safer way for me to maneuver as I try and enter and exit my house with my cane. Brain required a check made out for $2,500 for the cost of materials which I gave to him and was cashed Aug. 12, 2019. Before he left he told me he’d be there the following week to drop pf materials and begin working on it the following week which would make that the last week of Aug. That week came and went I called and he said he wasn’t able to get the martials and he’d drop them off the following Monday. the following Monday came and went I called him he said he can’t do the job because it’s raining he’ll have to do come out and drop off materials. This is now past Labor day and I call again and I again get the same stall tactic of I’ll drop the martials off and again nothing. This now goes in to the second week of Sept. Brain quits returning my phone calls, gave some email reply with some story again of how he’ll drop of the materials on Monday and he never shows with martials which I wrote a check for and he cashed. I called every day last week with no return phone call. My daughters called him Saturday Sept. 14th in an effort to make contact and he didn’t answer either of their calls nor did he call either one of them back. Tuesday Sept. 17th I call and let him know I no longer want him to do the job and to return my money. I gave him this check for $2,500 for services not rendered, he stopped returning my phones and hasn’t refunded me. My daughter stopped at the address listed on the business card and it’s a residence that my daughter indicated appeared be unoccupied.
