Called the [censored] back today myself. He claimed to have warrants for my daughter (doesn’t exist dont have one). Informed him I’m a retired deputy (factual) and he can meet me to verify service as the local courts have no records of his file number. He hung up I’m now blocked, Mark Cook blah blah. Claimed bad checks drawn on Wells Fargo, we have never banked there, period.
FILE A POLICE REORT: Mark Cook is nothing more than an aggressive scammer from Western New York. He will threaten you, don t be scared it’s a scam. If you do happen to get papers in the mail from this person, attach them to your police report, and make sure you have documentation from the institution he claimed to get the debt from stating he is A SCAM. Then place a freeze on your credit. This guys is a complete scam artist.
These people call and leave a message with all of your personal information on a voicemail without stating the matter of the concern threatening that they will see you in civil court

BEWARE: This guy, Mark Cook, called my daughter and left a voicemail on her cell phone stating that he was going to sue me in civil court. I dont know how he got my daughters information. He has my birthdate and social. I will be following up with the police and my bank.
