Type of a scam Online Purchase
Saw an ad on Facebook. Clicked on it and filled out the info to receive a "free" trial. Once filling out the info it takes you to a page to buy their product. Nothing free at all and very expensive! A few minutes later I receive a phone call. Now the "free" off is only $9.47. OK I proceed. Then she was ready to hang up I said hold on. What’s the name of the company? She replied "Healthy" I said ok. Is this going to be an ongoing charge? Must I cancel so nothing else is taken out of my account? She just went round and round for a simple yes or no question. I said just cancel my order. She said she wouldn’t cancel a thing and hung up. I called my bank and cancelled my debit card. I tried calling the 800 number she gave me. It didn’t work. I called the 800 number my bank gave me it also did not work. A few minutes later someone else called me back from the 717 number and answered my question…the phone numbers still don’t work.
