Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was contacted thru craigslist by someone calling himself Ian Morgan wanting my personal info to send me a money order for purchasing an item I had for sale on craigslist. A few days later this person contacted me saying his "assistant" sent the wrong money order and that he needed for me to send the overage to him right away. I was concerned by both the request for personal info and by his request that I send him a check for "overpayment."
