Type of a scam Government Grant
Messaged me thru FB friend. Said she had received &90,000.00 grant and gave me the link but could not get on. Then a Maria Christian came on messenger and said she was the rep She took on line application and said I was approved Then gave me a chart to choose the amount I wanted to get. I chose $150,000.00 with a fee of $2,000.00 I was told not to tell anyone until I got my money. She said I would get the money within 24 hrs after they received the 2k. That a UPS man would bring to my door and I would go to my bank with the UPS man and verify their check was good. I was to send a money gram thru Walmart to Letroy T Brown. Taft. Cal. 93268. I ask if I could go to my bank the next day and get the money gram, but she stated that Mr Brown had already been scheduled and could not be changed. I asked my friend on FB what her maiden name was, but got no answer. Then I ask her where my sister lived in our home town the last time I saw my FB friend. Still no answer. I called my daughter in law and she stated this was a scam.
