Received a phone call claiming to be the IRS, the lady then told me I had an outstanding balance due to the IRS for my federal income tax for the years of 2010 – 2015. If I didn’t get it taken care of they would come and take my house and land. I asked if they had sent any letters to this effect and she told me they had. She provided me with my full name and address. I asked again if this was the IRS, and her reply was yes. I then explained that the land wasn’t in my name, and she quickly hung up.

Persons calling to let you know that there is an arrest warrant out for you for unpaid taxes and that you must pay them right away. Do not fall for their scary tactics. IRS does not call you with an Indian accent.
