Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
looking for side jobs on line A week later I received a text (I believe I deleted) offering a simple job Yesterday received a sizable check $2,900 and instructions to visit 3 businesses which was specified Purchase moneygrams times 3, and send $800 to a recipient The cost of these 3 adds up to $2,400 I keep the rest, $$500 Became suspicious…too good to be true I haven’t done the job but will take my $ out in cash, in case the check bounces
I am still trying to find out if it is a scam
