Type of a scam Identity Theft
Company claims they are the IRS. They claim I have a discrepancy in my tax file with a company called Viera. Harassment over phone when I do not give them personal information. Won’t let me speak to a supervisor. Person is named mark. He states he is also supervisor. They call 5-6 times a day. Demanding personal information. I know for a fact the IRS will not do this. When I ask if they are related to the IRS they quickly hang up phone. Get called from different states and different phone numbers all from same company. I would like for them to be investigated for fraud. They also state they will contact the local police department if I don’t provide personal information to them.
