Type of a scam Phishing
Yesterday they called me saying my social security card and financial institutes were being abused and they were going to take legal action and alert my job about it. Today they called and said that they were calling in regards to my tmobile account.
I informed them that i have never had a tmobile account. They asked if i ever had a mobile credit card. They said ok. I asked how they got my number but hung up the phone. I called them back and asked how they got my number and they then said this is jason pena. I said yes how did u get my they said well you spoke to someone and they put your account in dispute. Then i informed them about yesterday and they said had no idea about yesterday. So i said i want to know how u got my number so you dont try and scam me again. They denied it being a scam and i told them i will report their number so no one will get scammed. She said you do that and have a nice day and hung up on me.
