I received several call’s from a so-called "IT Windows Support". Every time they called, the caller ID showed the call was coming from Edwards, NY (315)-562-3700. These scam artists (one of which went by the name of ‘Max’) claimed to be working for Microsoft and stated that my computer security had been compromised. In order to fix the PC, I had to provide them with my credit card information – which I promptly declined. Upon doing so, the caller got very impatient and began using aggressive pressure tactics in an effort to collect personal information.
