Type of a scam Tax Collection
Received a phone call from an automated call…"This it the IRS Crime Dept, there is a warrant for you for past due taxes, please call this number, 661-221-7787" Called the number they kept asking for my name, told him this was a business, did he want my name, the owner’s name or all the employee names? He asked for my name and when I hesitated he asked if I wanted to be arrested! Told him I didn’t think they could arrest me when I did not owe anybody anything and he hung up!
