I received a call from the "IRS". I did not answer the call but they left a message. In the message they claimed that they were the IRS and that there was legal action against me. After that they said I was to call them back immediately at Area code 201-285-8120 and that I do not dare to disregard this message or legal action will be brought against me and a warrant for my arrest will be issued.

I got a call on my prepaid and unlisted (as far as i know) cell phone account with AT&T from 757-214-0304. I missed the call and called back because I use the phone for business. The person said he was "Steven" from the IRS Investigations Division. The line was very scratchy and when I told him I couldn’t understand him, he repeated that and used "Internal Revenue Service." At that point, I told him it was a phone used for business and not to call back. (As it is prepaid, I got charged for the calls.) I did not ask how much money, but it was clear to me that’s what would have followed. The person sounded black and spoke with a slight accent.
