Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

Scammer contacted me by email claiming she wanted to buy a sofa I posted on Craigslist. She offered to send me a personal check and to send her movers to pick it up. She asked me to pay her movers with the remaining money from the check she was going to send me because she couldn’t come because her daughter was sick. I was supposed to cash the check she sent me, and pay her movers, and keep $50 for my help. I gave her my name, address and phone number. She insisted that I deposit the check as soon as I received it. We were in touch by text. I received the check yesterday and it was a cashier’s check, not a personal check, and it looked suspicious. I texted her that I wanted to talk and she didn’t get back. I called and she didn’t pick up. I said the deal was off and she texted me all night claiming that I was crazy and we had to make the deal. Today I called the bank and they confirmed the check is fake. I also called the sender address that appeared in the envelope they sent me and they told me that unfortunately their address has been used to scam other people too, many times. I still have the check.
