Said his name was Oliver Castillo. Scammer said I had free cruise if I purchased a trip to one of several locations including Mexico Dominican Republic and Asia for a discounted rate. Asked for credit card info, when I told him i knew it was a scam he said he knew the cartel and they would have me killed.

The scammer called two times and said that I had won a complimentary stay at a Mariott hotel. The number they called from is listed above. It was a 518 number and I called it back and a person answer and said they didn’t know what I was talking about. I believe the scammer is stealing and fradulently using people’s telephone numbers.

They called me from a phone number and offered a free hotel room. It was a robo call. It said to press a number to be put on the do not call list. This was Monday, January 23. On Thursday, January 26, I got a call from another phone number stating that they got a missed call from my phone number and I did not call that number. I believe that this phone number took my phone number and is using it to call people and use in a scam. The phone number that called me back was 315-730-9087. At the time the person said they got a missed call, I had been in a meeting for over 3 hours and had made no calls on my phone.
