Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
This person reached out to me about a posting on Craigslist. They initially emailed me with this address [email protected] initially their inquiry seemed legitimate, but then they requested to email me through a different account which was [email protected] . Then they proceeded to tell me this:
Hello,Good morning, I wont be able to meet with you due to the Covid 19 Pandemic out there,and am presently out of town at the moment, i am satisfied with the condition and i am going to purchase it. i will be paying through a certified check due to the nature of my job, and arrangement for pick up will be made as soon as the check clears. I will also add an additional $50 to hold it down for me.

As you can see all signs point towards scam. They can’t meet, they will send a check, someone else will pick it up.
Do not ever take anything but cash unless you are meeting someone at a bank where it will be cashed.
