Was checking on availability and pricing of Merrell shoes via Google Search. This site showed up: https://www.mershoeswen.com . The graphics and all other details of the site appear legitimate. Many of Merrell shoes are made in China and this appears to be a factory direct outlet. Prices were 50% of other on-line vendors. The selection process is very professional and when you check out you are directed to PayPal. After you enter your card details you receive an email from : [email protected] .When I received that email I suspected a scam – the language was in poor and uneducated English. I did my research but nothing could confirm a scam from this "place". So I waited a couple weeks because I suspected the shoes would ship from China. Today a small plastic bubble wrap envelope arrived with a Chinese Customs Declaration fixed to its back – all written in Chinese. In it is a small plastic whistle. I knew I’d been had. I called CC company and explained. They are removing the charge
