I received an email from this company impersonating Milacron, a sales rep for an equipment company, I do business with. It had an attachment I was instructed to open. Here it is, Good day,

When I tried to open the attachment, it took me to an excel file I couldn’t open. I tried several times and failed. I emailed back and was told to go to this, Citrix Attachments

Because I could not open it without being directed to Citrix’s pngage which offered a free trial so I signed up to access the file.
The next day I contacted my rep by phone to confirm that the email sent was his and he confirmed it wasn’t him. I immediately contacted Citrix and cancelled the free trial. They sent me an email confirmation cancelling the free trial.
This company should be reported to the FBI to be investigated. I’m sure that Milacron would not be happy with this company using their company for this purpose.
