Type of a scam Employment
I’m not sure about the validity of this company. I answered an ad on Craigslist about mystery shopping. I got an email asking to send my physical address if interested. I later received an email saying I would be receiving an assignment the following week. I asked for more info on the company and the work they needed done and received no response. A week later, I got an email saying I would be receiving information in the mail with a cashiers check. I told them I was not interested in working with them because this seemed like a scam. They replied and asked why a scam (all emails contained broken English). I again stated that I was not interested in working with this company. They replied that a check was on the way and they could not cancel the assignment. I said the package would be returned the sender. The following day, I received another email stating that a package had been mailed and included tracking info. Again, I replied and said that I would be returning to sender. No response. This is what the most recent email says.
Subject: YOUR FIRST SH*PPING ASSIGNMENT IS AROUND THE CORNER
Copy: We will like to inform you of your "FIRST SHOPPING ASSIGNMENT " which you are to start Today.(03/10/2017). The payment processing department has mailed out a PAYMENT. The payment is scheduled to get delivered to you soon. You can have the movement of the package monitored at (www.usps.com) with this TRACKING NUMBER (9405501699320110426458).
