I received a letter saying that I had won a large sum of money, but they wanted me to pay an $18 processing fee. The letter had the name of the company, but no phone number. There was a contact person, Reuben Callis, and it said that he was a community official. The letter had an id # A0031205046394.

Mailed letter resembling a tax audit. Mail cash, check, or money order for $18.00 “one-time purchasing fee” to claim sweepstakes cash and awards totaling $392,000… uses “official” language such as “procedure directive” and “bureau of notifications committee”. Official looking stamps and signatures as well.
