Total money lost $1,000

Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

I contacted National Student Aid Care 2 years ago because I needed help with my school loans. I was told that 3rd party companies were helping people such as myself do this, so they could pay their loans off without them going into default. I went through a very lengthy process of paperwork, emails, phone calls and spending $1000,00 over a 3 month period of time (because this is what I thought needed to happen), for nothing! Absolutely NOTHING! I started this process with a guy named Arnold ***, then it was Angie ***, then Robin **, lastly Jeremie ***. None of these people were still current employees of this company for more than a 6 month period of time. At the end of every year, I was contacting someone new to submit documents, and every new person assured me that everything was in motion as it should be. It wasn’t until October of this year 2018 that I knew everything was about to get super [censored]; this was when I started getting emails from *** telling me that my loan payment was due. Since I should not be receiving notification from them, I tried for 1 week to contact ANYONE that could explain what was going on. It started with unanswered emails, emails that were coming back with no deliverable address, phone numbers that would ring endlessly, I tried several different times to search the web page to get additional contact info and IT DOESN’T EXIST ANYMORE! Of course as soon as I typed the web address into the search engine, there were countless "BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM" articles associated with this company. After some additional checking into my *** account, the balance of my school loans have not decreased even by $1 in 2 years! The only thing they did, was take my money, as they have from so many other people, put my loans into Forbearance from 1 year to the next and now there is an inconceivable amount of interest added on to the end of my loan. This company and so many others are such a sad display of what being taken advantage of really means.

There are a lot of people, along with myself that are trying to do better and get finances manageable to be able to live, and this is what you get? Interestingly enough, not long after my endless search for National Student Aid Care, I received a phone call from Damion *** @ *** *** *** who was telling me the same line of crap that I was given before. He assured me that this company was legit and taking over for those that have been shut down due to scam and I could check out their eligibility on ***. Of course this website had nothing but wonderful reviews, until I typed in *** and YELP blew up with "THIS IS A SCAM"!!! WHY are these companies even allowed to exist?!? How do these people sleep at night?!?

I doubt I will ever see any of the money that I have given to this company and when I call *** they will probably laugh, as I’m sure they’re getting a lot of the phone calls I am about to make. So, in closing, I URGE you to STAY AWAY from ANY OF THESE COMPANIES! It is not worth it, you will save nothing and you will inevitably end up further behind than you started!!!

contacted via phone by rep who requested $500 to apply for loan forgiveness.

Said I was approved but not able to receive letter of actual approval in writing

with terms and conditions and payment plan. Called them back and once they

realized I was on to them, they hung up.
