Type of a scam Debt Collections
First this person called a family member asking for my contact information which he did not give. They called from a no caller id, I did not answer and they left a voice mail. I called back the number left on the voice mail and the person that answered the phone stated they were Neiman and Associates and he would have to have a lawyer come to the phone to discuss my case. Once someone got on the phone he stated they were collecting a debt from 2014 from a specific bank and wanted to settle my debt for 1300.00. When I told him that i did not get anything in the mail, he asked if i was having mail carrier problems. After he stated my last 4 digits of my social and home address and I told him that I will not believe anything else until I receive something in the mail. He hung up on me.
