My mother received a notice that she is a winner of a Sweep/Lottery drawing—she hasn’t entered any sweeps. She was a sent check for over $4,000 and a telephone to call and instructions how to claim “big winnings”. Anyone attempting to deposit the check would provide account information to scammers!

I got a check in the mail from new Financial Management Incorporated about a claim notification. I call *** *** ***. He got all bent out of shape that I called him by the wrong name. The check was from *** *** *** *** *** but it was postmarked from Canada. There was not much information provided about the award. It just said "award claim final notice." The check was for $7800.
