Type of a scam Credit Cards
The man called me and asked if I was _____. I said to whom am I speaking. He said "We’re new local business" and if I was interested in lowering my credit card rate. I asked the name of my bank, and he couldn’t tell me, and he didn’t understand the question. He said he was all cards, Mastercard, Visa, American Express. It’s funny but two weeks ago, I called my credit card, and asked them to increase my rate. He spoke very broken English. He had an accent, maybe Somalian. He wanted my credit card number because he was going to reduce the interest rate to below 6%.
