Type of a scam Phishing
I received a phone call from 800-642-7676 and I answered. They said hello….hello? I said Hello. They then asked for "B. Hunt" I immediately responded "stop calling this number" and they said they are sorry , "so we have the wrong number?" And I said "yes" and I hung up. But I feel like they got me to say the word Yes that I know I wasn’t supposed to say because they may be recording it to use as authorization on purchases. Also it was a real human I spoke to, not a recording. I called the number back and got a recording for Microsoft with options to press to hear different things so I hung up. I’m just scared they are using that Yes against me. I’m posting this the same day it happened so I don’t know if they have tried to take my money yet.
