Type of a scam Travel/Vacations
I bought a puppy from another scammer, Audrey Teacup Valley, advertising teacup yorkies and poodles. Their website is audreyteacupvalley.com. A man called himself Quincy Ambe and his phone number is (571)250-8492. I had a bad feeling about them but all of my research came up empty. They used Zelle to get my money, $550 for the puppy, $40 paperwork and $50 shipping fee. They used one email for information exchange [email protected] and one for the money transfer [email protected]
Next day, the pet delivery company, Nordwing Pet Delivery, called with a number out of Salem, OR (971)209-2497, and said they sent an email with tracking number. [email protected] with a name of Timmy Diaz. I didn’t get the email so I had to give them a second email address. Once received, I had to go online and confirm my address. Once confirmed, I was told the puppy will have to pass some checks and I will get a confirmation that it is on the plane. An hour later, I got an email saying that the crate the seller used is no longer acceptable by the PTSA and that I either need to buy or rent one. The cheapest rental would have been $100 with a refundable $1000 security deposit. They also wanted $200 for a stabilization shot to keep the puppy comfortable.
They called to ask if I got the email and then told me to call back once I’ve read it and made my decision.
I did not fall for their scam but did for the puppy scam!
Their website references two addresses:
