Type of a scam Credit Cards
These people call me all the time saying that they want to collect on "non-delinquent" accounts. When I ask why a collection agency would call you to collect on invoices that are "non-delinquent" they say they can’t disclose that. They want you to ‘confirm’ your social and physical address but they don’t even know your name, so naturally I refuse. I’ve dealt with these companies before and it’s a total scam. They want your social so they can begin to clean out your once immaculate credit. Even after you tell them to take you off the list, they call the very next day hoping some poor sap will pay this bill that isn’t even theirs. The few times I talked to them longer than 20 seconds before hanging up, I ask them what the bill is in reference to, and they don’t know. How can people call other people to collect money that isn’t due and don’t know what the money is going towards, I have no clue. As apart of the ScamPulse.com, letting these businesses know they can’t troll unsuspecting americans seems to be apart of the job description. And telling them to take you off the list means just that, "don’t harass me".
