Outlet Hot Sale – Keen

Also fell for this scam. Tried cancelling the charge on my credit card but they said I needed to wait until the charge posted. Kept getting updates that my Keen shoes had been shipped. Yesterday a pair of Gucci socks arrived that my foot will obviously not fit into. Plan to contact my credit card company again today since the “product” has now arrived and obviously not what I ordered. Wish I had seen these complaints earlier.

I fell for this same scam, and it really irks me that I fell for it. Ordered 2 pair of Keens. Figuring out that it was probably a scam and shoes never arrived, I called my bank, that was already charged $58.50 last month to this China company. They said to wait 30 days, to make sure the goods didn’t arrive, then call back. I notified the China company several times stating I felt the purchase was a scam & they replied that the delivery was on the way, and indeed I received today a small package from Shishai which contained 2 pair of socks with price stated as $15.00! How do I report this?

Purchased two pairs of shoes from an ad on Instagram from this site. It’s a scam, with an Amazon warehouse employee selling tracking numbers to purportedly show packages as being delivered. As of today I have filed for a full refund from PayPal, as well as reported the site to Instagram, Keen, Amazon and the US Postal Service for fraud.

I also get the similar scam Online Purchase. the company site named: ctgnewsj.com, located in British, but the actual charge is from China with name EPL*YIPFANYUHB BEIJING. After they charged me, they never send me what I order, now the site can’t be found

Type of a scam Online Purchase

I came across a sponsored ad from "Outlet Hot Sale" on FaceBook advertising KEEN warehouse special offers, $23 clearance sale with 70-80% off. I love KEEN shoes, and proceeded to the link (https://www.keenoutlet.shop/shop/). It looked legit, with the KEEN logo and shoes I’ve been wanting for a while. Prices were too good to be true, but with the COVID crisis and looking through the website it appeared legitimate. My Mom and I chose shoes, and I placed an order. Right away my REI Mastercard had "failed". I thought that was strange, so tried my Costco Visa. It needed additional verification, so I cancelled and saw I had received an email fraud alert from Mastercard. They caught the fraud, and canceled the charge – which was supposed to be $100, but came through as $112.77 from: Epl*yipfanyuhb In addition, the charge came from China.

KEEN shoes are proudly made in the US. I’m doing what I can so others don’t fall to this scam (this is a first for me). Going back to the ad on FaceBook, the page for the sale was created May 26, 2020. Lots of red flags for sure! Thank you for your attention, and helping others stay safe.
