Type of a scam Online Purchase
Purchased what I thought was a great dane puppy for $800. This person was supposed to ship the puppy the same day of purchase. This person never disclosed any other shipping fees in the bill of sale. After transferring $800, I got an email from a what looked legit shipping agency with a tracking number but then stated I needed to pay insurance in the amount of $1490, which was 100% refundable apon delivery. I was pretty upset by this because nothing was disclosed about shipping fees. Once I paid the insurance fee then I got another email stating now I needed to pay for an a/c crate for $1600. At this point I knew something wasn’t right. When I contacted the person from the shipping agency they stated I needed to call the seller and figure something out. I kept repeating that I wanted a refund and the man on the phone kept saying figure it out with the seller then proceeded to tell me that it would take 2 weeks to get a refund. I then contacted the seller explained the situation and that person proceeded to try and talk me into paying more money stating I should be more understanding. I knew at this point that I got scammed. Very unfortunate situation.
