Wanted to get a real estate loan for the purchase of an apartment complex. I put out inquiries for the loan and quick lending came up. Harold sent me out the agreement and both of us signed it. Because it was a hard money loan, I tought nothing of paying the fees ahead of time. One promise turned into another then another then another, with harold saying we’re almost there. Now 11 months later, no sign of him. And no loan! And I’m out $18,300
