Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
Received call saying I had been approved for a 3500.00 loan and I needed to send 200.00 to verify that I qualified to pay loan back. I was told to buy 2 $100.00 iTune gift cards and call and give them the 16 digit number. Did this and while still on phone Clara comes on and say because of low credit score you need to send 200.00 more for insurance by getting 2 100.00 iTune cards again. After this she said I didnt qualify for Direct Deposit of funds I needed to go to CVS or WalMart to get cash by Money gram and because they were a company I needed to send 300. 00 more dollars. Says now we will send 4200.00 which will include the total 700.00 that you spend. Lost a total of 400.00. One persons name was Shaun Kallis. They gave a license number 2007-14-34-LL. Searched Irvine Yellow pages could not find address or name of company.
