Type of a scam Government Grant
I was contacted saying i have been chosen to receive a government grant for $14,540. I was asked to verify my address which he kept saying either an incorrect number or name in the address. He asked the last 4 digits of my social security number. He asked for my bank account or debit card number. At that point I told him I would call back the number he gave me to proceed, he tried insisting I stay on the line but I felt it was a scam, looked up the number and found it here and lots of other complaint sites. When they call the number comes up unavailable. I hope others realize not to give your bank info.
