Attempted to purchase a paddleboard. emailed the "company", was told it would be processed and on its way. Received a black T-shirt. Have gone back and forth with the company about receiving the paddleboard. Keep getting different refund percentages. They stated I would have to pay for the t-shirt to be returned to them and told me that a 100% refund was impossible.

I received an advertisement on Facebook for deals on inflatable stand up paddle boards, so I ordered one from a website. The website was umentions.com This item was discounted 75% and seemed too good to be true. It was! I never received what I ordered. Instead I received a black t-shirt. When I contacted the company they said that there was nothing they could do because they are an international company (China) and the shipping costs would be too high for me to send it back and them to send the item I ordered. They offered to refund me 15% of the purchase price and they would let me keep the cheap t-shirt.

I am in the process of disputing this charge with my credit card company. I have seen other offers lately popping up like this on Facebook.

While on instagram I came across an ad for paddle boards. It was a great deal for an Isle board. I assumed that model was being discontinued or the like and was excited about my purchase. Flags went up quickly as amount charged was different than invoice reported. I emailed their “customer service “ and they said my credit card company charged it because they are an overseas company. I asked for my money back. No reply. I asked for a tracking number. They gave me one. It said I received my board. When I let them know I hadn’t, they said to contact the shipper myself-it wasn’t their problem. Then I realized I had received a package- a t-shirt. I emailed them back. They said I could send them more money to get my paddle board. I asked for my money back again. They said I could send back the shirt and then they would refund my money. From there they kept trying to negotiate different little deals.

The offer was for a hot tub (several) discounted 75% off. So I chose the $3,999 hot tub and paid $125.00. It was to be delivered and insured by another company EMS express in 5-7 days. Today is day 8 since I paid and ordered it and it has not arrived and their is no contact information provided on Facebook.
