Emailed saying they’d seen my application on a website. Offered a shipping job too good to be true. I gave them little to no information but said that I had the job. Seemed too fishy.

I received an e-mail for a job position for shipping agent from Uniexpress Global Trading, Corp. I applied, and on their recruitment web page said that upon interview we may ask for a background check. Then the next day I got an e-mail from them telling me that based on my application and completed background check I had been awarded the Shipping/Receiving Clerk position with their company. Now I would have to send them my personal information to finish my recruitment with them, which I didn’t. Why? I got suspicious because I had not even got to be interviewed yet, and suddenly now I’m hired and passed the background check. To good to be true. I called them back to their phone number but it says to leave message and no one answers. Wrote them e-mails but they don’t respond me either. Thankfully when I applied first with them, on the job application did not ask for my Social Security #, Driver’s License #, or any other personal info except my name, address, and phone number.

This company contacted me by email with a job offer to be a forwarding agent. I applied and they replied that I would have to be willing to do a background check before an offer of employment. I agreed and they hired me after the background check but I have not heard back from them since. I then called them numerous times but no answer. I left a voice mail but I have yet to receive a call back. Today I received a notification from my ebay account that there was unauthorized use of my account. I am suspicious that the ebay activity may be from this forwarding agent job.
