Wired money for a puppy to be shipped. Breeder wanted cash sent via money-gram from Wal-Mart. Puppy was to be shipped 8/12/2017. Breeder was to get back to me with flight details on 8/11. Didn’t here from her on that date so emailed her. Said she would finish paperwork and get back to me in an hr. She didn’t. I emailed her and she told me that shippers had the puppy. Git an email from shippers asking me to confirm my info. I did. Then a little later they emailed and told me I would have to purchase/rent an electronic air-conditioned before she could be shipped, due to hot weather. They wanted money wired thru money-gram or western union, which would then be refunded back to me 99% in cash. I emailed breeder back and let her know that I didn’t have that kind of money, nothing was ever mentioned about a crate and this smelt like a scam and I wasn’t going to agree to it. She asked what I wanted her to do, refund my money or ship with another shipper? I told her I wanted my money refunded back to me. Haven’t heard anything else. Thru checking on social media, this same scam has happened to someone in New Jersey with the same puppy.
