About 5:30pm or 6pm on Friday, 8-19-16 my computer screen went blue with a phone number to call saying alert computer at risk 855-998-4388, I didn’t call right away, I called at about 8:30pm I called twice and got tired of being on hold, so I hung up both times, then Shawn Bruce called me from 888-577-9873, and then that’s when it all started and he talked to me, and said he would try to figure it out, and after half hour or so and they couldn’t figure it out they would charge me one time fee$ 139 or a fee for the year $299. And so I got him into my computer, and he claimed that he figured out what the problem was, but that he would need an hour or so. He said I don’t want to take a credit card number, because your computer’s not secure right now ,and then he asked me if I could take a picture of a check, and at that point I wrote a check for $309.99 (somehow $10 got added to it–he convinced me to do a year). Then I took a picture of the check with my IPad and he gave me an email address to send it to. Then we waited awhile for that to come through. Then I got off the phone and let him roam around for an hour or so. Then I realized late the next morning that, that was probably all fake. Shawn Bruce gave me 800-746-0919 if I need to call him. And that number has called me about 5 times. While Shawn Bruce was working on my computer, I could see his name on the screen as well as Nikhil Chawla, when I asked Shawn Bruce about him, he said he brought someone else on to help him because there was so much work to do.
