Type of a scam Government Grant
I received a call on my cell phone yesterday at about 6:00 PM. Calling from the United States Congress Grant. Something like that. Offer $9000 grant that I don’t have to pay back. The funny part is the caller could barely speak English. My caller ID showed Government Restricted. Wanted me to go to Walmart and give number EK542 to collect $9000. I don’t have to pay money back. He gave me their phone number 202-670-4813. I think I stumped him when I asked for a check. He said wouldn’t you rather pick it up at Walmart. I played along. He asked if I wanted to put it on a credit card. I said I don’t have one. I know it is a scam. Reporting call.
