Type of a scam Government Grant
Received a call from a guy who identified himself as Lawrence Jon and gave me an amount of $14,589 and I need to call 253 289 3784 or 253 289 3716. I did not call so then I received another call from Lawrence. When I continued to play along I found out since I wouldn’t give credit card number the told me to go to Kroger’s, Walgreens,or CVS and I need to purchase a card for registration which would be $300. Then they would transfer the grant money to a card. So I was.playing along as if I was driving to Kroger’s and drove to sheriff’s office. I had to stay on the phone with him the whole time we drove to the sheriff’s office!!!
