Applied to their customer service position that was posted in Jackson, MI. Received an email next day and a text saying they wanted to do an online interview, via google hangouts. They already had my resume, so they knew my personal information such as address phone number and email. Never gave anything more. Asked standard interview questions. Then the question of “what bank do you bank with so we can set up direct deposit” seemed off. I faked one of the banks, and continued on. They offered me a management position, paying $45.95 an hour, I will be supplied a Apple MacBook for free and a check to pay for all software I will need. I said okay. Trying to see what’s going on even more. They told me I had to log on today at 9 am to be told what to do, which was just info about sending the check in the next 24-48 hours. After that I blocked the user completely. Did some digging the last couple days, and it shows that Craig Collard is a real guy, who does work in California but he’s a CEO of a pharmecitual company. They stole his photo from google images, and his basic info of age and such. Lots of in-depth work for a simple check scheme. Not sure what I’ll do if the check pops up at my address. I don’t think the police can do anything, but we’ll see. Be aware!
