Type of a scam Online Purchase

I ordered on 4/22/2017 an trial box from Urthbox. The company’s website stated that all shipments are sent out on the 15th of the month. Since I signed up on the 22nd of April, my first trial shipment would not be sent until May 15th, 2017, from that point, I would have 30 days to try the products from the shipment date and if I did not cancel the product before the 30 days, I would be charged for the membership on the first of the following month (after shipment) for future shipments. On May 23, 2017, I contacted the company because I did not receive anything yet and I needed to follow up. I spoke to a woman and she advised me that the package was shipped on the 19th of May, (not the 15th like the website stated) and that same day in the afternoon, I did receive the first trial box. (May 23, 2017) While on the call with this woman, I doubled checked with her to ensure that I did have the 30 days to try it, she confirmed. A few days later, on June 1st, this company charged my credit card for $239.00 for a six month membership. I was only given a few days to try the product, thus they did not honor their commitment to allow me to try the products like I was promised. I called them on June 1st several times but no-one answered the phone. Each call I made, I was put on hold by a robo call service, then I was forwarded to leave a message because they were too busy to answer calls. I left several messages and no-one called back. I also emailed them and it took them several days to respond to me. On the email request, they informed me that they cannot credit my account and that I am stuck with the 6 month program. They are using the regular policies on the website for regular shipping and billing programs, and it appears that they have removed all information regarding the 30 day trial period to try the products. I am assuming that they cannot answer the phone because of the fraudulent activities they are doing. They have lured people through the offering of a trial period to try the products, then they have removed all aspects of this information on the website. They are probably updating/changing the website as we speak to back themselves up because they have ripped off a lot of people this month. (Hence, the reason they do not answer the phones, return calls, and respond quickly to emails.) Moreover, the products they give you are terrible, they taste terrible and not worth the money they are charging. Beware of this company, they will lure you in and take your money, and fraudulently lie.
