Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
I work for the company *** *** ***. Our receptionist received a phone call from this company and a women asked for the postage machine ID number, claiming she was customer service on the machine and their computers were down. Our receptionist gave her the ID number. Once they got the ID number they took it upon themselves to send Ink & supplies to our company via UPS, that we did NOT order, for our postage machine. Then they sent an Invoice for the Ink & Supplies. They have called several times demanding money for the Invoice. I told them we did not order these items and they were returned. They didn’t care to hear this. They continued to say that we did order these items, and they want their money. They are scam artists.
