I have done the application for the green card lottery online when I found them in Social media through Linkedln. USALWS called me on my South Sudanese number and asked me lot of questions about who I am, what were my reasons to go live in the States and my requirements. They interviewed me for about 1 hour on the phone, they pretend like a Genuine and Government body by sighting different issues, then told me I was so eligible to enter the States and they’d take care of my visas application. They told me you have to pay now or your application will be lost and I paid through the online the expected payment of 200 euro. After that I don’t know how they managed to withdraw 3000 euro from my account, after I realized it I inform my bank and they closed the credit card but not yet to recover the money. The bank starts to dispute the illegal transaction but not sure if they recover it, this is really demoralizing and discouraging when I lost my pure money I worked in hardship to save it.
I was believed them as illegal entity of the United States but found the scam when I saw the pdf format they send me to sign. I am also in a serious threat, if they do identity theft using the profile of my family and myself that reaches on their hand on the application process. I also try to communicate them to recover my money in response they need 5 working days and then after no communication at all.
